Dear Chamber Member,
The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce along with the Perry Dogwood Festival Committee
announces the 22nd Annual Perry Dogwood Festival to be held on Saturday & Sunday, April
10th & 11th, 2010. This event has become a well-known springtime event for the Perry area
and we need your help and support to continue this exciting Perry tradition. The 22nd Annual
Perry Dogwood Festival will include many wonderful events, as in the past. Events we’re
planning to have this year include: the Arts and Crafts Show, the 5K/1 mile Run/Walk
sponsored by Houston Healthcare Complex, the Dogwood Pageant sponsored by the Perry
High School Cheerleaders, a Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Perry Kiwanis Club,
Dessert Contest, Perry Idol, local downtown entertainment, and outstanding food vendors.
There will also be children’s activities and games in Downtown Perry. As you can see, this
will be an event the entire community will enjoy!
Please take a moment and make a gracious tax deductible pledge to sponsor this year’s
22nd Annual Perry Dogwood Festival. Only through sponsorships like this, is the Chamber
able to fund an event that the entire community will enjoy. We plan to use many forms of
media to promote the festival, including billboards, radio, newspapers, and our own Perry
Dogwood Festival website. You will find a sponsorship sign-up sheet describing the
different levels with the benefits and advantages of being one of our sponsors. To ensure all
your sponsorship benefits, please return the attached form by Friday, February 26, 2010.
You may or may not plan to attend the festival, but you can utilize this opportunity to show
your support for the Chamber and the community while marketing your business. It’s a win,
win situation! Don’t forget that the members are the Chamber.
