Dear Chamber Member:
The Dogwood Festival Committee of the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce announces the 24th
Annual Perry Dogwood Festival to be held on Saturday & Sunday, April 14th & 15th, 2012. This
is a well-known springtime event for the Middle Georgia area. The Festival will include activities
for the whole family. The following are the events planned for this fun filled time in the Middle
Georgia Area: the Arts and Crafts Show, the Dogwood Pageant sponsored by the Perry High School
Cheerleaders, a Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Perry Kiwanis Club, a Softball Tournament
sponsored by the Perry Recreation Department, the Dessert Contest, Perry Idol (Two Age Groups -
Adult & Jr!), the Poker Run, an entertainment stage with local youth groups, children’s activities
and games, not to mention the outstanding food vendors. As you can see, this will be an event the
entire community will enjoy!
On the back of this letter, you will find a sponsorship sign-up sheet describing the different levels
with the benefits and advantages you will receive. Please review and decide which one works best
for you. With sponsorships like this, the Chamber is able to plan a celebration that that will bring
visitors to our community. Numerous forms of media are used to promote the festival, including:
billboard, radio, newspapers, television, and our own Perry Dogwood Festival website. Last year,
the site had over 4,400 unique visitors in February, March, and April. Your business logo will be
featured on this site with a direct link to your company’s website! Imagine the amount of hits that
you will receive just by being a sponsor!
To ensure all your sponsorship benefits, please return the attached form by Tuesday, February 14,
2012. You may or may not plan to attend the festival, yet you can utilize this opportunity to partner with the Chamber and the community while marketing your business. It’s a win-win situation!
